Week 1 Complete

C25K week one finished, thanks to my Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS. I ran an hour and thirty minutes, burned 899 calories, and ran a total of 10.68 km for my first week.

I weigh 205 pounds thanks to a week spent eating ice cream, I'm not too worried about that, I'm going to stay focused on workouts, and eating right will be part of it but I'm not going to count all my calories at this time, I want this, and when I jump in with everything at once I do good for a few week then I bomb. I'm going to set this routine of running every other morning, 6am is my workout buddy. Weekends might be off, but during the week I gotta keep it up. I'm hooked on the day I don't run I want to anyway, I might start going for walks in the morning, or doing some kind of strength training. I just love how pumped I feel after. The afternoon my pumped feeling kind of dies, but I hope that goes away as I get used to it. My legs and feet were sore the first and second day but friday they were better.

6 am make sure the coffee timer is on, put on my sweat pants, t-shirt, Garmin, and possibly sunglasses, open that door select my workout and hit start. Best feeling ever.

Break OVER!

I had trouble getting back on the wagon, I had no trouble gaining five pound eating ice cream and relaxing. But now I have a nifty gadget to motivate me. and it Dang well better for 150 big ones. I bought a Garmin Forerunner 305. All i can say is WOW exactly what I what in a watch, heart rate, speed distance, calories, pace, all sorts of stuff like holy doodle! you can customize your workouts, set target paces for intervals and you can make as many intervals as you want in all sorts of different times, hell you can even have a workout partner on it. I like it, I think I'll use it for everything, even other training, it's the perfect watch, besides the 10 hour battery but it's not supposed to sit on your arm all day. it's for work outs, and it's damn good.

Sorry this sounds like a commercial but damn I'm pumped about it.

anyway off to sleep

May long weekend

Surprisingly I have May long weekend off, being self-employed usually my long weekend are when I'm not working, and not when a stat holiday comes along. This weekend is both, and as usual it's raining and cold when the week was all sun and happy.

I'm setting in a nice cold room with a hot coffee starting my day. I plan on doing some shopping today, I need a few things, and I want to find a bike helmet for biking / rollerblading. My head is huge, oddly shaped, and for the past few years I've had to go without. Now I might just end up ordering one online, and hoping it's actually big enough.

I ate all wrong yesterday so I feel horrible, not guilty, but horrible. One nice thing about having stomach problems, it keeps you eating right just out of not wanting to feel like you are going to die.

Exercise must happen today, as well as a big clean up. I'll do an update tonight to see if any of that happened.

Sunday Afternoon

So usually Sunday afternoon ends in me doing something I have no desire to do. Mainly leaving the house. Today the leaving the house trip was a photo shoot, in the park, we got a free photographer, and my lady decided we need family pictures. It was free so I had no excuse. It was kind of fun. I have some pictures from the photographer I might put up after they're done.

My Sunday.

Every Sunday, I wake up anywhere from 4:30 to 5:30 usually. I click on the coffee, feed the Boy, and Study my Watchtower for the meeting later that day.
I'm studying with Jehovah's Witnesses, as you might have guessed since I study The Watchtower. Reading the Bible, and studying the bible is a big part of my life. It helped realize no matter how bad things get there's nothing god can't fix. Don't worry I'm not going to get all preachy, but I'd like to encourage everyone to read the bible, you will be surprised what you find in it. It's not the easiest 66 books to understand or get into, but it is worth it.
Any who, I'm going to get out of the house now. This afternoon should be filled with the three F's, fun, fitness, and food. Enjoy your long weekend everyone.

Saturday FAIL

Maybe it's the no sleep thing, but I totally failed the push-ups test.
The fix and still stay on track with new fitness goals, I'm gonna start running C25K and start back on like week 3 of push ups. That should be easy, and by the time I get to the point of final test should be adjusted to running so it won't be such a drain.
anyway need food so must eat... BRAINS! err a meal anyway...

Rest day

Up at 7 am after being up with the boy until 2 before just taking him to bed with us. COFFEE made upon getting downstairs. He had shots yesterday so that made him kind of a pain fortunately he loves his dad, and will go to sleep if I'm there, most of the time. Bad part is when you sleep with a baby, you usually do it in an uncomfortable position as to avoid baby falling or baby squishing. My arm was sore but a few hours this morning, and now at 8 pm I could sleep all night.

Breakfast
Coffee, toast with margarin and honey, too tired to put effort into anything. multivitamin, and prescription drugs with breakfast, so full glass of water.

Snack
Protein bar and water

Lunch
Coffee and plain bagel, low fat cream cheese.

supper
waited too long to eat, so nutrition fail 10 proggies, sour cream, then dessert of a small glass of strawberry ice cream.

An okay rest day plus I grab 5 medium sized steaks for 11 dollars, might have one tonight for a snack before bed but I'm also really tired so might go to bed. work tomorrow for a half day at least, I'm getting pumped about Saturday's test.

(Told you this is a pretty boring blog, it might be more interesting when I have more of a workout schedule and less of a "Oh hey I ate, and was tired")
